Sharpen your business skills with this award-winning Excel course – free to Macquarie students

Perhaps you’ve had a chance to work with Excel within your degree or work but still feel you don’t really know enough about it? This award-winning, highly-rated Coursera specialisation on Excel (Essentials to Advanced) is available for free to all Macquarie students. 

Excel skills are a huge asset to anyone working with data of any shape or form. The Excel team from the Faculty of Business and Economics created an award-winning Excel Skills for Business (Essentials to Advanced) specialisation on Coursera – one of the largest online learning platforms in the world.

  1. On the Courser website, when i click the Excel Skills for Business: Intermediate I hyperlink, I am asked to sign up for 7 day free trial. Isnt the course free for us ?

    1. Hi Nikita, If you just go to the course on Coursera, then you won’t be included in the student group and won’t get free access to the course. You need to follow the instructions on the webpage. There are 2 steps: create an account using your MQ Student email address, then follow the invitation links that are on the page. If you continue to have difficulty, then you can email excel@mq.edu.au.
