10 October: Buy a coffee and support mental health

Our Centre for Emotional Health (CEH) conducts research into anxiety, depression and other emotional disorders. The CEH’s research has resulted in a number of highly recognised and implemented therapeutic programs such as Study Without Stress, which provides students with the skills to manage their stress whilst preparing and undertaking exams.

To support the centre’s fantastic work, they’re running a Coffee for a Cause fundraising event in partnership with Piccolo Me cafe (located at AHH, ground floor) on Tuesday 10 October – World Mental Health Day. Buy any coffee or sandwich from the cafe and $1 from your purchase will be donated to the CEH. There will also be a $1 raffle ($1 per ticket) with the following prizes:

  • First prize: hamper of gourmet products from Brookfarm
  • Second prize: Hamper of Mars confectionery
  • Third prize: gift voucher to Piccolo Me

This is a great chance to show your support for mental health research, with a simple act of buying your regular coffee or lunch creating a big impact for the future of mental health research!
