FOMO alert: All the highlights from two days of RE:Conception

Yep, okay so, RE:Conception was epic. What a time to be alive… what a time to be at Macquarie!

Thanks to everyone who came along, and more importantly, thanks for playing by the rules and embodying Macquarie’s spirit of being fun, inclusive and just plain awesome.

And a special shout-out to the SRC reps and the group of volunteer students who have worked hard for the last six months to get RE:Conception off the ground and running!

Timmy Trumpet, Didier Cohen and the rest of Thursday night’s lineup played to a packed Atrium and blew us all away. We’re pretty sure no one is going to forget Timmy Trumpet’s ‘Freaks’ anytime soon.

Friday afternoon was just as amazing – Thelma Plum and Macquarie’s very own Just Breathe provided some chilled-out tunes for a relaxed afternoon sesh, with Furnace and the Fundamentals and DJ Nino Brown getting everyone to their feet with some banging classics. But let’s not forget that amazing finish, with San Cisco bringing over 4000 people to our beautiful lake, followed by some epic fireworks.

Check out these highlights – they kinda speak for themselves. Until next year!
