All the fun: Get amongst the Disney Appreciation Society

That’s right, there IS a place on campus where you can indulge your deep, deep love of Aladdin and feel right at home.

MacDiz, or, the Macquarie Disney Appreciation Society, was established in 2014 when one particular fan was shocked to find that there wasn’t already a place to share the Disney love on campus.

Since then, MacDiz has exponentially grown and thrived, with a solid membership base and a full calendar of exciting events all year round.

What’s next for the group? Kieran, publicity officer for MacDiz, tells us: “We hold monthly Disney movie nights on campus, and everybody is invited. We’re also going to see the new Aladdin musical later this month. We pride ourselves on finding new and unique ways to help foster a sense of community amongst the Disney lovers on Campus.”

MacDiz are also hosting a Hawaiian Luau Party in September, and are extending their invitation to all students. There’ll be a free Hawaiian BBQ, drinks, competitions and much more.

Keen to get involved? Email MacDiz, follow them on Facebook, or log in to your MacSync account for more info!
